Privacy Policy

Songle is a music-guessing game available at songleai.com and as the iOS app SongleAI. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who helps us process it, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it.
In short: you can play without an account. If you sign in, we store your account and your games so we can keep your history, streak and leaderboard positions. We don’t show ads, we don’t use analytics or tracking tools, and we don’t sell or share your data for advertising.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Giacomo Fava, an individual, reachable at giacomofava93@gmail.com. Write to this address for any question or request about your data.
What we collect

On your device we store only what the game needs to work: your sign-in session, a referral code if you arrived through one. We do not use advertising identifiers and the iOS app does not track you across other apps or websites.
Legal bases
- Contract — providing the game and your account.
- Consent — notifications, which you grant and can withdraw in iOS Settings.
- Legitimate interest — security, preventing abuse, and anonymous usage counts to improve the game.
- Legal obligation — keeping records of purchases.
Who processes your data
We use a small number of providers, each only for the purpose listed:
- Google Cloud (Google LLC) — hosting of the service and technical logs.
- MongoDB Atlas (MongoDB, Inc.) — database.
- Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple — sign-in, only if you use them.
- Apple Push Notification service — delivering notifications on iOS.
- Stripe — payments on the website.
- Google Fonts — the website loads its typeface from Google, which receives your IP address.
These providers act on our instructions and are bound to protect your data at least as strictly as this policy requires. Some are based in the United States; transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Song hints are prepared in advance from public information about songs; no personal data is used for that.
Links such as “Listen on Spotify” or “Listen on Apple Music” open services that are not ours and follow their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
- Account and games — until you delete your account.
- Anonymous games — 24 hours.
- Notification token — until you delete your account, or until Apple reports it is no longer valid (for example, after the app is removed).
- Technical logs — about 30 days.
- Orders — for the period required by tax and accounting law; when you delete your account they are detached from it.
Deleting your account
In the app or on the website, open your Profile and tap Delete account. This immediately deletes your account, game history, daily results and streak, notification token and any playlists you created. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke Songle’s access to your Apple ID. Anonymous counts (such as how many times a playlist was played) are kept; purchase records are kept only as required by law and no longer linked to you. You can also ask us by email.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to giacomofava93@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Children
Songle is not directed to children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced in the game.
